Angkor Cycling Tour Full-day Tour - Temple pass required, not included in the price – Every day, 7.45 am start, 28 kms. We start the day early and pick up guests at Mes Trois Coeurs Villa at 7:35 a.m. We transfer them, via tuk-tuk, to our tour office to size the correct mountain bike for each guest. We depart from the office when ready and cycle along the beautiful Siem Reap River towards Rd. 60 to collect the required Temple pass. Then, we cycle through the back route into Angkor Wat, where we will drop off the bikes and spend 2 hours exploring this incredible temple. After that, we reunite with the bikes and cycle along the moat to South Gate village. At the South Gate of Angkor Thum City, we enter and climb to the summit of the wall, overlooking the moat, and cycle around towards the Ghost Gate, where we will learn about the history of Angkor Thum City. Then, we will visit Prasat Bayon for around 45 minutes before entering the Elephant Terrace, where we will enjoy a delicious traditional Khmer lunch. After lunch, we will cycle leisurely towards the hidden Ta Nei Temple, enclosed by the Angkor Park rainforest, where we will spend 30 minutes exploring this hidden gem. We leave Prasat Ta Nei and cycle on a single dirt track to Prasat Ta Phrom (Tomb Raider Temple), where we will adventure for around 1 hour before cycling back towards Siem Reap River on single dirt tracks and back into town. - KAYAKING MENCHREY FLOATING VILLAGE
Mechrey community has 340 houses or families and around 1900 inhibitions the village is 2.5km covered by the floating mangrove tree from September until mid-December. Due to the mid-December dry season, the village will be 6km toward the lakeside, which is closer to the mangrove tree floating forest. But the view of the village will be wide open into 2 lines it still looks amazing. To travel by boat to the Mechrey floating village is about 20mn from September to mid-December. Kayaking 2km around the village, you will see and learn the daily life of these mystery people who have lived on this great lake for more than 7 generations. The activities are visiting the houses of the villages, experiencing remote cuisine on the spot when they cook for lunch, homemade blacksmith, stopping at the grocery store to chat about their famous grocery, and working on fixing the fishing net from the fishery the night before. Moreover, we will take you to visit the school and pagoda to learn about the traditions and cultures of those people. After the visit to the village for 2 hours, we will have a break at the local restaurant, enjoy refreshments some seasonal fruit, cold drinks, and Lunch. Available kayak season at the floating forest is from August to February.
